BlitzRender Service Terms

Version 2026-10-28. Supersedes 2026-10-27. What changed:

  • our telephone number, +34 695 905 610 (below and section 14);
  • if you are a consumer, you may also withdraw by telephone, and we refund within 14 days of your telling us (section 6);
  • if you cannot sign a message with the wallet a cryptocurrency payment came from, how else we can confirm a refund address is yours (section 6);
  • we report content that suggests a threat to somebody's life or safety to the police (section 8);
  • you may take a decision of ours to the courts, and consumers may ask us for a complaint form (sections 11 and 13).

These terms cover the BlitzRender rendering service: what you get, what it costs, what we do with your files, and what each of us promises the other. They are written from how the service actually works rather than from a template, and where the service has a limitation they say so.

Who you are agreeing with. These terms are between you and BlitzRender, the trade name under which Noelia Caba Martín, sole trader, of Plaza del Sol 4, 18620 Alhendín, Granada, Spain, provides this service. Tax identification number (NIF): 77767859Y. Not inscribed in the Registro Mercantil (optional for a sole trader). You can reach us by email at support@blitzrender.com or by telephone on +34 695 905 610. Where these terms say we or us, that is who they mean.

Two more documents form part of this agreement: the BlitzRender Acceptable Use Policy, which says what may not be rendered on the machines we rent, and the BlitzRender Privacy Notice, which says what we hold about you and why. Both are shown beside these terms and accepted with them.

How this contract is formed. You accept these terms by ticking the box beside them in the web app or by sending the same acceptance through the API. We record which version you accepted, a fingerprint of its exact text, and the moment you did so; that record cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, by you or by us. Every version we have ever published stays readable on our site, so what you agreed to is always producible. If you make a mistake while filling in a form, each form can be corrected before it is sent. This contract is concluded in English.

What we email you. We email you a confirmation of each set of documents you accept, with the documents attached; of each payment we credit; and each invoice we issue for a payment. Your invoices are also in your wallet.

1. What the service is

You upload a Blender scene. We render a short preview of it on a graphics card we rent for the purpose and measure how long it takes and how much graphics memory it needs. We then show you the job's hourly rate, an estimate of what the whole job will cost, and the most it can cost. If you approve, we rent a card of the same kind again, render the frames you asked for, and give you the results to download.

Your job runs on the kind of card its preview ran on. If your scene needs more graphics memory than the first card has room for, we preview it again on a larger card — that preview is free too — and the job renders on that card, at that card's rate. A scene that needs more memory than the largest card we use is refused, and nothing is charged; our site states the current limit. Each job renders on a single graphics card.

We offer your job on the card that costs you least, and you may choose a faster one. Of the kinds of card that can hold your scene, we offer the job on the one that costs you least for the rendering, and that is the card we recommend. Where we show a faster card beside your offer, you may choose it instead. If we have not yet previewed your scene on the card you choose, we preview it there first and show you that card's own rate, estimate and maximum before you approve; until then, and if that preview does not complete, the offer you have stands. Moving between offers we have already shown you costs nothing. The first preview on a card you choose is free; a later one costs the fee we show you before you confirm it, and is charged only if that preview completes.

The machine is not ours. Each job runs on a graphics card hired by the hour from a marketplace of independent hosts, chosen for that job, and destroyed when the job ends. We do not promise a particular model within a kind of card. Rendering is done with a fixed version of Blender, which we state on our site.

Scripts embedded in your scene never run. Blender can carry Python inside a file, and on our machines that is switched off in several independent ways before your file is opened. A scene that depends on such a script to look right will render without it, and that is how the service is designed rather than a defect.

2. Who may use it

The service is offered to businesses and to consumers — studios, freelancers and developers rendering their own or their clients' work, and anybody rendering their own. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract, and before your first job or top-up we ask you to confirm it.

If you are a consumer, nothing here removes your rights. Where the law of the place you live gives you rights as a consumer that a contract cannot take away, you keep them, and any part of these terms that would reduce them does not apply to you.

Sanctions and export control. Your jobs run on machines we rent from a marketplace based in the United States, and we promise that marketplace that nobody who uses the service through us is subject to sanctions. So by accepting these terms you confirm that:

  • you are not located in, organised under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, or the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson or Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine, or any other country or region under comprehensive sanctions of the European Union or the United States;
  • you are not named on a sanctions or restricted-party list kept by the United Nations, the European Union, Spain or the United States — the US Specially Designated Nationals list included — and you are not owned or controlled, directly or indirectly, by anybody who is;
  • you are not acting for, and will not render for, any such person or place, and you will not use the service or what it produces for an end use export-control law restricts — the Acceptable Use Policy lists them.

We ask where you are, and whether you buy for a business. Before your first job or top-up we ask which country you are in, and if it is Ukraine, whether you are in one of the regions named above; and whether you buy as a consumer or for a business. Your answers are recorded with your account, and you must give them accurately: they decide the tax on what you buy (section 4). We do not accept a job or a top-up from an account whose answer is one of the places named above, and a recorded answer is changed only by asking us, so that it cannot be answered around.

If any of this stops being true, stop using the service and tell us. We may refuse a job or a top-up, and suspend or close an account, where we have reason to believe it is not true.

3. Accounts and credentials

Opening an account. Where we offer it, you open an account by signing in with a GitHub or Google account: the first time you do, we open a BlitzRender account in the email address that provider reports as verified, and a provider account that reports no verified address cannot open one. You may also ask us to open an account for you. One account per person or business.

Signing in. Signing in with GitHub or Google starts a session that lasts 24 hours, or 14 days if you ask to be kept signed in on that device. Signing out ends the session on our side, and you can end every session on your account at once. You can add a second provider to your account from its settings while you are signed in. We never join a provider account to an existing account because their email addresses match, and a provider account that has reached one BlitzRender account always reaches that one.

Whoever controls your sign-in controls your balance. Anyone who can sign in to the GitHub or Google account linked to yours can spend your balance, so protect those accounts as you would this one, and tell us at once if one of them is taken over.

API tokens. We may also issue you an API token for programmatic use. A token is shown to you once; we keep only a one-way fingerprint of it and cannot show it to you again. Anyone holding your token can spend your balance, so keep it private; if it may have been seen, tell us and we will revoke it and issue another.

4. Prepaid credit and payment

You pay in advance. Rendering is charged against a balance you top up, in US dollars.

  • Prices are stated in US dollars and are exclusive of value-added tax. VAT is added when you buy credit, not when you render, and the total you are shown before you pay includes it.
  • Each top-up is between $5 and $2,000. You may top up by card or PayPal account, or by cryptocurrency.
  • A cryptocurrency top-up carries a 11.11% bonus, because it costs us less to accept. That bonus is credit we grant you, not money you paid: it can be spent on rendering, it is not refunded, and it earns nobody any commission.
  • If a cryptocurrency payment carries more, or less, than the top-up asked for — a wallet sent the wrong amount, or a payment was never completed — we credit what actually arrived, valued at the rate of that payment, with the bonus on it. It is then refundable under section 6 like any top-up.
  • We may add promotional credit to your balance — a free sample render, for instance, when you first try the service. Like the bonus, it is credit we grant, not money you paid: it can be spent on rendering, it is not refunded, it cannot be transferred to another account, it does not expire, and it earns nobody any commission. Whether an account receives it is our decision.
  • Unused credit stays on your balance for your next job. Your balance is a prepayment for our rendering service; it is not a deposit account, it earns no interest, and it cannot be transferred to another account.

The VAT on a top-up. Credit buys our rendering service and nothing else, for use by the account holder in the country they told us they are in, and it is taxed when it is bought: the VAT on a top-up is the VAT of that place, at the rate in force that day, and it does not change if you move later — a change of country applies to your next top-up.

  • Customers in Spain pay Spanish IVA, consumers and businesses alike; a business gives its NIF, which its invoice names.
  • Consumers elsewhere in the European Union pay Spanish IVA too, until our sales to consumers in other member states pass EUR 10,000 in a calendar year. From the sale that passes it, and for the rest of that year and all of the next, they pay their own country's VAT instead. The total you are shown before you pay always says which.
  • A business elsewhere in the European Union pays no VAT, under the reverse charge, when its VAT number is valid in the European Commission's VIES register at the time it buys and once our registration for intra-EU sales is granted; it then accounts for the VAT itself. Until both hold, it pays Spanish IVA, and the total says why.
  • Outside the European Union no EU VAT is charged. A business in the United Kingdom pays no VAT on a VAT number HMRC confirms. Where a country taxes our services to consumers from the first sale, we do not sell to consumers there yet, and a business there buys with its tax number; the web app says where before you are asked to pay.

We check where you are. For a payment by cryptocurrency we compare the country of your connection with your billing address, and if they disagree, or the country cannot be read, we ask you to pay by PayPal instead. For a PayPal payment we compare the country PayPal gives for the account that paid; if it would change the tax on the payment, the credit is added to your balance but held until we have checked, and we either release it or refund the payment in full.

5. The rate, the estimate, and what you are charged

Previews cost you nothing, with one exception. Measuring your scene is on us, including a second preview on a larger card when your scene needs one, and the first preview on a faster card you choose (section 1). A later preview on another card you choose costs the fee we show you before you confirm it; it is taken from your balance only if that preview completes.

How the price is worked out. Rendering is charged by the minute: the job's hourly rate, for each minute of card time the job actually uses. That is the whole method, and it is what you agree to when you approve.

The rate is fixed when your preview is measured. It is the published rate of the card your job will run on, and it does not change afterwards, even if published rates move.

The estimate is our forecast, not a price. From the preview we estimate how long the whole job will take and what that comes to at the rate. Rendering time varies from frame to frame and from machine to machine, so the estimate is what we expect, not what we promise: a job can cost less than its estimate, or more, up to the maximum below.

An offer is valid for 72 hours. After that it lapses and you would need to submit the scene again.

Approving reserves an amount. When you approve, we hold on your balance an amount a little above the estimate — held, not spent. When the job ends, whatever was held and not used is released back to you.

There is a maximum, and you see it before you approve. Whatever the card does, we will never charge you more than 1.25× the amount held when you approved. If a job is about to cross that line it is stopped and parked for a person to look at; you are charged for the minutes that were rendered, and any frames it produced are yours to download.

If the machine fails. Hosts sometimes take their machines back mid-job. When that happens we resume on another one from the last completed frame; you pay for at most the frame that was in flight, and never for the same frame twice. If a job cannot be completed at all, the unused part of your reservation is released.

6. Refunds and your right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from a top-up within 14 days of the day it is credited, without giving any reason. To withdraw, tell us clearly before the 14 days are over, in any way that leaves no doubt — by email to support@blitzrender.com, by telephone on +34 695 905 610 (we confirm by email that we received it), or with the model withdrawal form at the end of these terms, though you do not have to use it. If you withdraw, we send your refund within 14 days of the day you tell us, by the same means you paid with.

Rendering inside those 14 days. We start rendering against a top-up inside its withdrawal period only if you ask us to. You ask when you top up, by ticking a box; if you did not, we ask you again when you approve a job, and the job does not start without it. The box says: "I ask BlitzRender to start rendering within the 14-day withdrawal period. I understand that if I withdraw, I will pay for the rendering done before I told you, and that I lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed."

  • If you asked, and then withdraw, we refund what you paid for that top-up less the rendering done before you told us — the credit spent on rendering is deducted, as below.
  • If you never asked, you pay nothing for rendering done in those 14 days, and the whole top-up is refunded.
  • Once the service you asked for has been fully performed — the top-up's credit spent on rendering you asked us to start — the right of withdrawal is lost.

We email you a confirmation of your request. A business has no right of withdrawal; the refunds below apply to everybody.

Unused deposited credit is refundable on request for 14 days after the top-up that funded it (for a cryptocurrency payment credited more than once, after its latest credit). Refunds go only to the instrument the money came from — the same card, PayPal account or wallet — never to a different one and never to anybody else. Any credit you spent on rendering is deducted, and any bonus or promotional credit we granted is forfeited.

Each top-up is refunded from what is left of it. When you have topped up more than once, what you spend on rendering is taken from your oldest top-up first, and a refund of a top-up is limited to what is left of that top-up — so one payment is never refunded with money that came from another.

A refund returns the VAT you paid on it in proportion. Refund part of a top-up and the same part of the VAT on it comes back with it.

Card and PayPal refunds are sent by us and arrive through the provider's ordinary process.

Cryptocurrency refunds are sent by a person, because sending cryptocurrency cannot be undone and we do not automate it. When we agree a refund we take the amount off your balance at once, and then send it:

  • in the same coin, on the same network, that you paid in, converted at the rate of the original payment — the same share of the coins we received as the share of the top-up refunded;
  • to a wallet your payment came from, once you have proved you control it by signing, with that wallet, a short message we give you. If you cannot sign from it — a payment sent from an exchange account, for instance — tell us, and we agree with you another way to confirm that the address we send to is yours before anything is sent;
  • with the network fee paid by us, so you receive the whole amount.

The bonus that top-up earned is forfeited in the same proportion as the refund: refund half of a top-up and half of its bonus goes. If a refund we have agreed cannot be sent — the address cannot receive that coin, for instance — we cancel it and put the amount, and the bonus, back on your balance.

Where sanctions law requires us to freeze money rather than return it, we freeze it, and a refund waits for whatever that law allows.

7. Payment disputes and reversals

If you dispute a payment with your card issuer or PayPal, the disputed amount is frozen on your balance from the moment we hear of it, and no new rendering can be started or approved on the account until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is resolved in your favour the payment is reversed and the credit it funded is removed from your balance.

If you already spent it. A reversed payment that funded rendering already done is not a refund: the rendering was supplied, and the VAT on it is not returned. Your balance may go below zero — by up to $5 below zero once you have spent more than $50 with us in total. That amount is owed to us and is set off against your next top-up. We may suspend an account while a payment on it is disputed, and may close one whose payments are reversed after the work was delivered.

8. Your files and your output

They stay yours. You keep every right you have in the scenes you upload and the frames we render. You grant us only what the service needs: to store your scene, scan it, send it to the machine rented for your job, render it, and hold the output for you to download.

What we do with a scene. Every uploaded scene is scanned automatically for embedded scripts and similar content before it is rendered. Only findings rated low or medium pass; anything else refuses the job before it runs, and at that point nothing has been held or charged. We do not look inside your scenes beyond what rendering requires. A person may review the scan's findings when a refusal looks wrong — the findings, not the scene; if they let the job go on, it comes back to you to approve like any other.

Limits. A scene may be up to 2 GiB and a job up to 20,000 frames. We may also limit how many jobs an account can have in flight and how much it can upload in a day, to keep the service available to everybody.

How long we keep things. Uploaded scene files are deleted 30 days after upload. Rendered frames are deleted 30 days after they are rendered, so download what you need before then. A job's record — its settings, timings and cost — stays, with the financial record.

We never feature your work without asking. Nothing you render is shown, published or used as an example by us unless you have agreed to it in writing, and then only with credit.

The Acceptable Use Policy says what may not be uploaded or rendered. Breaking it is a breach of these terms.

Reporting content. If you believe something stored or rendered through BlitzRender is illegal, or breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, tell us at support@blitzrender.com — our single point of contact for customers, for anybody else, and for the authorities of any EU member state, in English or Spanish. Say why you believe it is illegal, give the job reference or the link that identifies it, your name and email address, and that you believe in good faith that your report is accurate and complete. We confirm that we received it, decide without undue delay, and tell you what we decided and how to contest it.

How we moderate. We do not monitor what you upload. Every scene is scanned automatically before it renders (above), and a person decides on reports and reviews a refusal when asked. When we act on content or an account — refuse a job, remove output, suspend or close an account — we tell the customer what we did, the facts and grounds it rests on, whether it was decided automatically, and how to ask us to look again (section 11), unless the law prevents it. Where content suggests a criminal offence that threatens somebody's life or safety, we tell the police or the judicial authorities at once, with what we know.

9. What we do not promise

We render on hardware we do not own, hired from hosts we do not control. So:

  • We do not promise a turnaround time. We tell you what the preview measured and we start work when a suitable card is available.
  • Different graphics cards can produce slightly different noise in the same image. The preview runs on the same kind of card as the job, but we do not promise pixel-identical output between cards.
  • The service is provided as it is. We do not give any warranty beyond what the law requires of us.

Our liability to you for anything arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. That limit does not apply to anything the law does not allow us to limit — including liability for our own wilful misconduct or gross negligence, and any liability we have to you as a consumer that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Referrals

If you arrived through a creator's referral code, that code is recorded on your account and the creator earns a commission on your rendering under the BlitzRender Affiliate Terms. That does not change what you pay. A code that attributes an account to its own owner, directly or through a ring of accounts, is refused, and we keep a payment-provider reference for exactly that purpose (see the Privacy Notice).

11. Suspension and closing an account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy, disputes payments for work that was delivered, is used to defraud us or anybody else, or whose holder's confirmation about sanctions in section 2 is not true. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it or telling you would help somebody route around a control.

If you think we got it wrong, write to support@blitzrender.com with the reference we gave you. A person looks at the decision again, with anything you send, and tells you the outcome and why. A suspension stays in place while we look. Asking us is not the only way: you may also take any decision of ours to the courts.

You may close your account at any time by asking us. Closing it stops it being usable; the financial record stays, because a ledger that can be rewritten is not a record of anything. Unused credit on a closed account is refundable under section 6.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will publish a new version with a new date. You will be asked to accept the current version before your next job or top-up, and the new version applies from that acceptance. A job you approved under an earlier version continues under that version until it completes.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law, and a dispute with a business customer goes to the courts of Granada, Spain. If you are a consumer, you also keep the right to rely on the law of the place you live and to bring a claim in your own courts.

If something has gone wrong, write to us first at the address above; most things are quicker to fix than to argue about. If you are a consumer, complaint forms (hojas de quejas y reclamaciones) are available: ask for one by email at support@blitzrender.com, or by post at Plaza del Sol 4, 18620 Alhendín, Granada, Spain, and we send it within five working days, at no cost to you.
